..What is Permanent Makeup?..
Permanent makeup, also known as dermapigmentation, micropigmentation, or cosmetic tattooing, was initially used to assist clients with health problems such as administering makeup or hair loss due to health issues. Over time, permanent makeup has evolved and is now used to enhance eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips.
The procedure for permanent makeup is similar to body tattooing, using a needle to embed color into the skin. However, the pigment used is cosmetic and contains less metallic base than tattoo ink, resulting in a softer and more natural look. Permanent makeup specialists use microneedles for implantation and do not penetrate the skin’s dermal layer as deeply as they do with a body tattoo.
To prolong the life of cosmetic tattoos, proper skincare is necessary. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight exposure and skincare products with strong acids or retinol, as they can cause the color to fade.
