Frequently asked Questions
When done professionally, gel extensions can last 4,5,6 weeks. They're weightless, feel like youve got nothing on!
There are many differences between the two. First of all there the flexibility gel is flexible and moves with your nail, acrylic is very hard and not flexible at all. Filing is very different little to no filing for gel extensions, whereas acrylic needs a lot of filing.
Finished look and weight, gel is weightless almost and has a very natural finish, acrylic is heavy but still can have a good finish. Smell, gel has no smell at all, acrylic has a very strong sense of smell.
Both types of nails are great, my preference is gel for many reasons.
